The Restaurant

Dine on Modern Australian-style share dishes – a fusion of international and local flavours with a distinct nod to Head Chef Mark Brozic’s Slovenian heritage.

Depending on the time of year and occasion, graze on house-cured charcuterie, plump Tasmanian scallops and almond-encrusted goats cheese while enjoying a bottle of Slovenian Pinot Gris with friends.

Alternatively, enjoy roast Flinders Island lamb with root vegetables as a Sunday night dinner with family, or drop in for a bowl of buckwheat gnocchi and a pot of beer from our monthly-rotating beer-on-tap.

The Bar

Start or end your evening at our well-stocked bar; sip on a pre-dinner aperitif before eating with friends in the restaurant, or drop in for an after-work ale or glass of wine from a local winery.

For those heading beyond Brunswick – start your night with a cocktail and a bite from the bar menu. Our house-made charcuterie board is available year-round as are our regularly changing cheese boards.

The Proprietor

Mark Brozic

Head chef and proprietor, Mark Brozic made a return to his northern roots when he left Albert Park’s Kamel, to open Mr & Mrs Howell in 2013.

When dining options in Brunswick were few and far between, Mark decided locals were due a casual dining option within their neighbourhood; top-quality food accompanied by a smart beer and wine list, in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
